Sonic The Comic
Sonic The Comic is the official British version of SEGA's previously worldwide Comic series featuring Sonic The Hedgehog.

Created by Fleetway, the Comic Series strays far from the general storylines of the Series on the SEGA Mega-Drive, SEGA CD, SEGA Saturn and SEGA Dream-Cast, adding many of its own unique Characters to the Comic Series. While common Sonic Characters such as Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Dr. Robotnik and occasionally the Chaotix Crew regularly feature, there are many which are reserved solely for these Comics.

A selection of the most known super-villains are Robotnik's (slightly more sane) sidekick Grimer, the Super-Badnik Metallix, and the Chaos-infused alter-ego Super-Sonic.

The Series additionally adds many more friendly Characters to the Series. These include Sonic's resident technological geniuses Porker the Pig and Johnny the Rabbit, the Bean-based bomb-building Tekno the Canary, and the rebellious "Cybernik" and former ultimate Badnik weapon of Robotnik ShortFuse.

The main story generally follows the adventures of Sonic in his attempts to defeat the latest weapons of Robotnik and Grimer, often having to deal with opponents such as Metallix, Brutus, Metamorphia and Super-Sonic.

Rumours suggest that the Series may be making a return and picking up from where it left off, however these have not as of now been 100% confirmed for now.
