Amy Rose

Ask Amy if she is Sonic's girlfriend, and she will tell you she is. Ask Sonic that same question, and he will tell you that she blooming well isn't. Amy is constantly chasing Sonic, hitting anyone who gets in her way with her Piko Piko Hammer, and has gone from simply wanting to be his girlfriend, to wanting to marry him, to wanting to be the mother of his babies. Remember that she is not even a teenager yet...

Cream The Rabbit

The young rabbit introduced in Sonic Advance 2, Cream lives with her mother Vanilla and has a taste for ice-cream. Funny how Sonic Characters can be born with names which somehow miraculously fit their traits several years later, isn't it? Cream has a pet Chao named Cheese, and intends to re-unite Cheese with another Chao, Chocola. |

A purple Chameleon with certain Ninja skills, Espio can blend into his surroundings so well that even lasers cannot detect him! Either that or he's just nicked a cloaking device, one of the two.

Knuckles The Echidna

Knuckles is a red, dreadlocked Echidna who was appointed by his race to guard the Chaos Emeralds. Unfortunately, this task is made difficult for him by constant interference from Eggman and occasional interference (and love, as well) from Rouge. His spiked knuckles, from which his name is derived, give him a powerful punching ability. |

Miles "Tails" Prower

"Tails" is a young fox who was cared for by Sonic as a baby. However, he tends to view Sonic as more of a brother than a father. "Tails" can use his twin brushes to hover in the air and even sustain flight, and also to gently descend. Tails' pride and joy is his "Tornado", a small aeroplane which can transform into a car or a walking mech suit.

Omega

Omega is a robot who was sealed away by Eggman, and was accidentally reactivated by Rouge as she released Shadow. Omega intends to use his weapons to have his revenge on Eggman for sealing him away, and intends to avenge his entire Badnik race, of whom he is the last. |

Rouge The Bat

The only member of Team Dark with a known age, Rouge occasionally does espionage for the President. She enjoys treasure hunting, and often goes for Knuckles and his Chaos Emeralds, although which of those two she is more attracted to is uncertain. And no, I have no idea why she is wearing a belly-dancing outfit underneath her normal clothes either.

Shadow is a black and red Hedgehog who resembles Sonic. He wears hover-boots, which have made many believe him to be "cool". His mind is clouded since Rouge released him, and now he must regain his memory.

Sonic The Hedgehog

Sonic is a mutant Hedgehog (you know, the cliched "caught-up-in-a-mad-scientist's-experiment" business) who claims to be able to achieve speeds equalling or surpassing the speed of sound. He is the arch-rival of Dr. Eggman, and is constantly either foiling Eggman's plans or touring the globe. He also has to deal with Amy on a regular basis.

Vector The Crocdile

The oldest playable Character in the game, Vector is much different here to what he was in the comics (back then he was a skinny scientific genius with an IQ of over 250). He leads Team Chaotix, and tries everything he can to get the Crew to work successfully - but always fails.
