Trivia
- At the beginning of any Team's fight with the Egg Emperor, Dr. Eggman exclaims, 'Now I'll show you what real evil is!'. However, this doesn't match the English language sub-title, which says 'I will show what real evil is!'.

- The big statue of Dr. Eggman in 'Hang Castle' transforms into a statue of Metal Sonic when the castle is in its inverted state.

- At the beginning of 'Final Fortress' while playing as Team Rose, Amy explains that it reminds her of their last attack on the Egg Carrier. The Egg Carrier is the floating fortress of Dr. Eggman in Sonic Adventure. This is followed by Cream asking Amy if she has been in battle before, and also asking Big the same question. Sonic Adventure is Big's introductory game.
