Black Doom is the leader of the Black Arms aliens. He has a 3rd eye sometimes called Dooms Eye that watches and tries to tell Shadow to do bad things. Black Doom once even takes Shadow and tries to show Shadow humans are bad by showing him through Shadows mind the moment Maria died when she was hit by a bullet by a G.U.N. solider. Shadow The Hedgehog first meets Black Doom at the beginning of the game when he is wondering who he is. Black Doom tells him it is time to get the 7 Chaos Emeralds and as he finishes saying this Black Arm aliens are seen falling from the sky. Shadow starts gathering them since he thinks Black Doom knows his past and his past will come clear once he gathers all 7 Chaos Emeralds. Black Doom does not resemble the other Black Arms aliens and nether does Shadow but Black Dooms eye shows Shadow that Shadow has the Black Arms aliens mark on him. Black Doom doesn't appear often in person to Shadow The Hedgehog but instead sends his 3rd eye sometimes called Dooms Eye to give Shadow messages and tell Shadow what to do. Doing these bad deeds like killing gun soldiers, causing destruction, and such cause Shadows Chaos Blast bar to go up and when its full Shadow has infinitie ammo and can do a devastating move called Chaos Blast. Black Dooms base of operations is the black comet a comet that comes by every few years that is mentioned in that newspaper blowing by which is in the beginning of the scene that first shows at the beginning of the game when Shadow is starting to wonder who he is. That is why when that comet comes the Black Arms aliens started appearing. His other base of operations might be considered a flying fortress that starts if you do what Dooms Eye says. Black Doom oversaw the creation of Shadow The Hedgehog with professor Eggman's father.
