[edit] Boss 1: Egg Viper V2

The first Boss faced by Sonic is a giant robotic leviathan. The Egg Viper V2 has two standard attacks. Its primary attack is to rear its head and crash down onto the arena floor where Sonic is standing. This can be avoided by standing at one edge of the arena and running away as the Egg Viper V2 rears its head. The secondary attack is very much like this one; however, the Egg Viper V2 thrashes around before executing the strike, causing the view to rumble and cause a big distraction. The Egg Viper V2 will be vulnerable after each of these strikes; the weak point is the glass dome. The tertiary attack involves the Egg Viper V2 deploying its "cockpit" onto the arena floor, and causing the cockpit to spin toward Sonic. The big clue that this strike is coming is that the view moves to behind or in front of Sonic as it occurs. It occasionally does this two or three times consecutively. If this strike hits you, you will probably be knocked off and over the edge of the arena floor. Strike the Egg Viper V2 if it is vulnerable, and it should soon be defeated.
