[edit] Type #1: In-Story Bosses

The In-Story Bosses appear at various points in the main game. In total, there are only three types of them - the Black Bull, the Egg Breaker, and the Heavy Dog/Blue Falcon (which are virtually identical).

[edit] The Black Bull

The Black Bull uses fire balls and an army of Black Arms against Shadow to stop him getting the chaos emerald. Collect rings if you must. Black Bull's weak point is his eye, so you want to be hitting that. Only problem is, he's too high up. So you see the smaller enemies? Homing attack them to make your way up to his eye and keep using the homing attack on Black Bull's eye and keep repeating it. Soon enough your Hero alignment meter will go up so when you can use it. Chaos Control will freeze Black Bull giving you good amount of time to hit him. Once he drops to around half health Black Bull will shoot waves of fire at you, jump to avoid them and carry on the same strategy until he's dead.
