Dark Chao are chao that are on the dark side. They first appeared in Sonic Adventure.

Most Dark Chao are black. They have a spike above there head.(but in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, if you gave it a monster fish animal, it would have a flame above it's head)

And they look devilish.
