These are the items you can use in the game:

[edit] Invincibility

Sonic will be surrounded by stars and for a few moments be invincible (but he can still die if he falls to the bottom of the screen or gets crushed, so be careful!).

[edit] Lampost

These are checkpoints. Once you run past one and activate it, whenever you die you will restart from that point.

[edit] One-Up

A picture of Sonic; it gives him an extra life!

[edit] Power Sneakers

These will allow Sonic to run faster for a short while.

[edit] Shield

This covers Sonic in a faint blue shield that protects him from one badnik attack.

[edit] Super Ring

This will give you 10 rings.
