Lost World is a stage appearing in Sonic Adventure. It's located in the jungle area of the Mystic Ruins. This stage is split into multiple sections. The first section takes place in a maze, the second section is in a dark room, and the final section is in an open area filled with anti gravity panels. Sonic and Knuckles are the only ones who can access this stage.

[edit] Gameplay

[edit] Sonic

This is Sonic's ninth stage and he's the only character who proceeds through all of the sections. In the first section, Sonic must activate 3 switches in the maze to open the door. There are other switches that raises the water level. To get to the switches, Sonic must ride the snake across the water.

In the second section, Sonic must use the mirrors and the light sources to make that paths visible, allowing him to safely cross. Immediately following that, Sonic will be chased by a large boulder, which he must escape. After he escapes the boulder, he'll reach the final section.

In the final section, Sonic is in an open area and must use a switch to line up the anti gravity panel on the walls. He will be allowed to run on the walls, and reach the area on top, which will take Sonic to the goal.

[edit] Knuckles

This is Knuckles' fourth stage and he only searches for the Master Emerald pieces in the final section. Due to his climbing and gliding abilities, he doesn't need to use the anti gravity panels on the walls.
