Sonic 3 and Knuckles is an upgrade version of Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Sonic and Knuckles that allowed you to play as Knuckles The Echidna in Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Tails in Sonic and Knuckles. Both games have basically combined since both games were originally going to be one game. In order to play Sonic 3 and Knuckles, you need to Lock-On the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 cartridge on top of the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge.
[edit] Super Transformation (w/ Hyper Forms)
Along with turning into Super Sonic, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles could turn into their Hyper Forms.
