[edit] Back Story
Sonic Triple Trouble is a platform-oriented game, released for the Sega Game Gear in November of 1994. The game was developed by Aspect and published by Sega, sporting the complete title as Sonic the Hedgehog Triple Trouble.
[edit] Storyline
Dr. Robotnik ceased all of the Chaos Emeralds, but an unfortunate accident had occurred whiled testing his Atomic Destroyer weapon in its earlier phase, scattering the emeralds all across the island. Sonic and Tails depart to find the emeralds and prevent Dr. Robotnik from getting his hands on them, but gets cut short by Knuckles The Echidna and his deep interest for valuables. Dr. Robotnik recovers the yellow emerald, swindling the island guardian that Sonic and Tails are out to steal the emeralds. Meanwhile, a devious new character, Fang The Sniper, takes all of the arguing to his advantage, and sets out to recover the emeralds for him to keep, unaware of the power the emeralds store within. It is now a race for the emeralds.
[edit] Gameplay
Sonic Triple Trouble is the first Sonic game in which the player does not lose collected rings when receiving damage. In this installment, a total of thirty rings will be deducted from the ring counter between each hit during the first act, and a total of fifty during the second.
[edit] Playable Characters
There is a choice of playing as Sonic or Tails, each with their own special ability. Sonic is able to Strike Dash/Super Peel Out as he did in the previous Sonic Chaos game, and Tails has the ability to fly.
