[edit] Sonic the Hedgehog

  • Script: Nigel Kitching
  • Art: Richard Elson
  • Lettering: Tom Frame

Sonic arrives in the Chemical Plant Zone disguised as a penguin called Bob Beaky and pretending to be reporting work work detail. The Trooper badniks let Sonic through who, once inside the factory, sees the kidnapped animals being forced to work in slave like conditions. Sonic ditches the disguise and quickly destroys the Troopers, then leads the animals into one of the Mega Mack tunnels so they can escape without running into the other badniks that are all over the zone.

As they travel through the tunnel they are attacked by a Grabber badnik, although Sonic is able to quickly dispatch it and free the animal inside, who explains that he was put inside the badnik as punishment for not working hard enough. Soon they reach the end of the tunnel which opens up into a larger area filled with Mega Mack when Sonic is attacked again, this time by a creature which calls itself Megatox. Megatox explains that once he was a scientist that worked with Dr. Robotnik on the production of the Mega Mack, until an accident flooded where he was working. Instead of being killed by the chemical, the scientist somehow combined with the Mega Mack. Using his Mega Mack body, Megatox attempts to drown and poison Sonic with the checmical, and Sonic's attempts to pull him apart are a waste of time as with a liquid body he can just reform.

Megatox reforms after being pulled apart, forming into four copies of himself and surrounding Sonic. Realising it's pointless to attack normally, Sonic dives into the Mega Mack pool he is standing in and creates a tunnel leading to the outside, running backwards into the tunnel to cause the Mega Mack, and Megatox, to funnel outwards at high speed, spreading all across the countryside. The tunnel Sonic created also allows him and the animals to escape.

Now that Casey is so small, he crawls through a gap in the wall and finds Suzi, managing to zap the ropes which she has been tied up with. But the invisible monsters from earlier have caught up to them causing Casey to transform again into a more useful form, this time into a large muscular creature, not unlike The Hulk, called Bezerker. With his incredible strength, Berzerker is able to break out of the cave with Suzi and make it to the teleporter. [edit] Decap Attack

Starring Chuck D. Head! Part 1

  • Script and Art: Nigel Kitching
  • Lettering: Steve Potter

The story begins with a bat named Kevin who tells the reader that the Doc is about to begin his experiment and that they have missed all the gruesome bits from earlier on. But before Kevin can explain much further, he is smashed with a giant hammer by Igor. The Professor, full name Frank N. Stein, then calls Igor down, telling him to stop playing with the bats, and that the moment to bring his new "son" to life has arrived. Igor raises the platform carrying the bandaged body into the air whilst the Professor and Head, a talking skull, watch on as the platform is struck by lightning, bringing the body to life. Whilst this is going on, off to the side, two other bats close in on Igor and attack out of revenge for what he did to Kevin.

The reanimated body is confused by his body as he realises it isn't his own, which the Professor explains the only thing that is his would be his brain as the rest was unusable. Despite this, the body doesn't remember his name so the Professor tells him he wrote it down "Chuck D-" although the rest of the paper is stained with blood so he can't remember Chuck's last name. The Professor also introduces Chuck to Head who has the parts of Chuck's brain that couldn't fit into Chuck's new head. Whilst they are talking, Igor is fighting the bats until he falls off the raised platform which then falls onto Chuck's head, pushing his head down into his body level with his shoulders. Igor decides to fix the problem by putting Head onto Chuck's shoulders, so the Professor calls them Chuck D. Head.
