White Jungle is the ninth stage of the Dark Story and the second stage played as Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2. This stage takes place in a jungle on Prison Island.

Shadow's part of the plan was to plant some explosives on GUN's robots and weaponry that will cause the island to detonate within a certain amount of time. After Rouge reports to Shadow on being trapped in Security Hall, he reluctantly decides to rescue her, regardless of his decision to take revenge on humans.

[edit] Gameplay

This is a Speed stage that has Shadow running through a jungle within the 10 minute time limit before Prison Island explode. Shadow must get through the jungle mainly by using the vines, which transports him to different parts of the stage. This stage is heavily filled with GUN's robots, therefore Shadow must be careful as he progresses.

After completing the stage, Shadow will battle Sonic. Following their battle, Dr. Eggman warns Shadow that the island will explode and that he should escape immediately. Shadow suddenly leaves Sonic to save Rouge, using Chaos Control, and they both escape Prison Island without any harm.

[edit] Upgrade

The upgrade Shadow gets in this stage is the Air Shoes, which allows Shadow to use the Light Speed Dash to move at high speeds along a trail of rings. There will be a section where you must somersault through a wooden crate and fall in the hole. Inside holds the upgrade.
